She told me that she wants to start eating healthy but that it\u2019s too expensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This seems to be a widespread belief that most people have and I\u2019m here to tell you that eating healthily doesn\u2019t have to cost a lot of money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, eating healthy can actually save you money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But first what is eating healthily?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To eat healthily means following a healthy eating pattern that includes a variety of nutritious foods and drinks. It also means getting the number of calories that&#8217;s right for you (not eating too much or too little).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A healthy diet is essential for good health. It protects you against many chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. Eating a variety of foods and consuming less salt, sugars, saturated and trans-fats, &amp; making sure we also get in our vitamins &amp; minerals by taking multi-vitamins, Calcium\/Magnesium, &amp; Omega 3\u2019s, etc. are essential for a healthy diet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do we save money by eating healthily?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can save so much money every month by not purchasing overpriced junk foods such as chips, pop, candy, chocolate and avoiding fast-food restaurants, consuming less alcohol, and drinking mainly water. Literally, hundreds of dollars a month saved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My personal grocery list consists of Cartons of eggs, Steel-cut Oatmeal, Rolled Oats, Almond Milk, Frozen Mixed Berries &amp; Strawberries, Anti-biotic free chicken breasts, 10lb bag of rice, Spinach, Asparagus, Whole-grain Bread, Natural Peanut Butter, Greek Yogurt, Extra Virgin Olive oil, Bananas, Extra Lean ground beef\/turkey, whole wheat noodles, Butter, pasta sauce, Coffee pods, &amp; Keto coffee syrup.
